The company emphasizes greenhouse gas management and has joined projects with the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) to obtain certifications for the Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) and Carbon Footprint for Products (CFP).

Selic have been receiving Carbon Footprint for Organisation: CFO certification (scopes 1, 2 and 3) from Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organisation (TGO) since 2024. The latest certificate was received in March 2026. This is a significant milestone that demonstrates a proactive commitment to environmental sustainability and transparent emission management.
Environmentally Friendly Product Development
- Biobased Hot Melt Adhesive:
- Produced from bio-based raw materials, biodegrading faster than petrochemical adhesives
- Suitable for automatic carton sealing machines in various industries
- Certified with USDA Certified Biobased Product and Carbon Footprint of Product (CFP) from TGO
- Water-based Adhesive:
- Newly developed formula to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- Used for glass bottle labeling machines, providing strong adhesion in low-temperature and high-humidity conditions
- Meeting Circular Economy needs: Easy to wash off, facilitating convenient glass bottle recycling, ideal for the beverage industry
- Low VOC Solvent-based Adhesive:
- Developed from the original formula to reduce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) harmful to users
- Maintaining high bonding performance
- Suitable for footwear, leather goods, thermal insulation, and automotive industries

Aimed at creating products with a lower carbon footprint (Carbon Footprint of Product: CFP) than current market alternatives.
Raw Materials
Since 2024, Selic has partnered with a supplier to integrate 100% biomass-based raw materials into our eco-friendly hot melt adhesive series (HMPSA) under the brand Minerva Green Organic.
This collaboration has led to the development of products that reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 45%—equivalent to a 45% reduction in CFP—compared to conventional petroleum-based adhesives as of late 2025.
The product is also honored with the 'USDA Certified Biobased Product' label from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Minerva Green Organic is now commercially available.
Packaging
Beyond raw materials, we have also established agreements with several suppliers since 2023 to use packaging manufactured from recycled materials.
Energy and Resource Efficiency Management ProjectGRI 302-4
Promoted awareness campaigns for resource usage to reduce paper, water, and electricity consumption. Initiated process efficiency improvement projects to optimize energy use and reduce waste generation, aiming to lower greenhouse gas emissions in Scope 1 & 2.
LESS Project
The company has participated in the LESS (Low Emission Support Scheme) project by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) between 2023-2025 and has been evaluated to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 44.141 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, 37.134 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, and 42.161 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, respectively.
